New Student Intake Planning Phase & Resource Pack = AU $450
Every new student who comes onboard our reading & writing intervention program is given a baseline assessment so we know exactly where to begin.
The initial intake fee is charged for the time spent analysing all the assessment data, provision of an initial personalised treatment plan and a take home resources pack filled with all the resources your child requires in their tutoring sessions.
“This first step in the intervention process, allows us to create a fully customised reading and writing support plan for your child and allows us to pinpoint your child’s exact needs.”
This process includes:
- A review of any previous formal testing and reports to determine student strengths and weaknesses and learning style.
- A 90 min baseline assessment appointment using the South Australian Spelling Test, the York Assessment of Reading and Comprehension, and a curriculum-based assessment to determine program placement and to custom design your child’s program. This assessment process is used as a benchmark to measure growth throughout the program.
- A written treatment plan report following the initial assessment which will outline the program goals for your child.
- A handy resources pack to use not only in our sessions, but also at home to support their homework and at school if they choose. Having access to these high quality resources allows parents to support their child using the exact techniques we use in our tutoring sessions, but more importantly our students will always have access to the resources that assist their learning.
