The journey of learning to read is easy for most children. Unfortunately, this journey is very different for the child showing signs of difficulty from the very beginning. These children may show a lack of interest in books, do not know their letter names and sounds, find learning the alphabet challenging and are not meeting the developmental milestones of children their age.
Our 2 hour informative workshop is designed to ensure every child’s reading journey starts off correctly. This key information is highly recommended for every parent of a child in the early stages of reading and for children in:

- Yr 2 and struggling to progress with reading
Learn key concepts and knowledge to successfully and correctly support your child with reading. This must know information on syllable types, decoding strategies and error correction techniques will save your child from making unnecessary reading errors and will give you the confidence to know you are doing things right from the start.
